I have spent the first part of my life reading, studying, and applying what I have learned. On this page, I intend to share “What I know”. One thing that I know is that people have been suffering for far too long, and that the time has come to end the needless suffering. Many people know that there has to be a better way. Join me and add to the sharing as, together, we find a better way.
If it is true that all things work together for good, the we must not let circumstances bring us down nor dim our light.
It says in A Course in Miracles that man’s function is to be the salvation of the world. It has also been said that Jesus is the Light of the world. The Bible says that we were “Created in the image and likeness of the Creator”. Jesus also said that we would do greater things than he did. These verses make it clear that, if we are to do as Jesus commanded us to do, “Pick up our cross and follow him”, then we, too must be a light in the world.
A lighthouse is a beacon which will guide us Home. A ship, looking for Home searches for the guiding light of a lighthouse. The beacon shines steadily at all times and the worse the conditions, the more welcome is its sight. Man, if he is to fulfill his function, must be a light unto the world. In order for man’s light to shine, he must first understand who he is.
We are all gods, children of the most high God. We, like our Father, are love. When we are in our pure state, we are nothing but pure love and that loves serves as a beacon to all mankind. When we act out of pure love, our Light shines brightly. Unfortunately, many of us lose our way and our lights are dimmed by the many forms of insecurity – ager, jealousy, envy, fear, etc. Our blessing is that our light will never go completely our- it can only be obscured.
We are in a time when science and religion are finally coming together under the banner of Quantum Physics. Just as they talk about the “Word” in the Bible. they also talk about “Thought” in Quantum Physics. In religion, we talk about Spirit as “an invisible force that impacts the physical world”. In science they talk about Energy as “an invisible force that impacts the physical world”. Amazing, huh?
This article is about thought and how sometimes it can limit us when we use it against ourselves. We have been programmed by conditioning as we grow up to believe we are less that we are. Fortunately, sometimes we ignore the status quo, overcome the conditioning, and do something which many of us consider to be amazing. Heather Dorniden showed us what can happen when we we don’t allow our thoughts to get in the way. She showed us that just because we are down, we don’t have to be out. What amazing things are you gonna do?
My USM Journey (aka The Hero’s Journey 🙂
As is customary, I started the New Year listening to the Universe for my “marching orders” for the year. What I heard was, “In order to move to the next level, surround yourself with others with a higher vibrational level than those who are currently in your circle.” To that end, I enrolled in USM (Utimate Success Masterclass).
My Intention in USM is in the area of Business and Career. My Intention is “To share my message of Hope with the World. To have an abundance of money and resources to do all of the things that I desire and to give freely to those in need, and to causes that I support. I realized, due to the world-wide reach of USM, I AM actually sharing my message of Hope with the world through the forum.
My Goal is to develop a support network around me that expands my outreach globally and generates income sufficient to supply all my needs and desires, with income starting at $20,000 per month, and increasing continuously. To that end, if you see an opportunity that you can support me in my goals of reaching a global community, let me know!
A slide in my Mind Movie stated, “My book is a best seller.” Since I didn’t have a book, I figured that in order for it to become a best seller, I needed to write it. And since the core of the training that I do always gets a rave review, I decided my book would be a conversation with the reader covering the aspects of my training. Here’s the 6,000 word book: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5c9tv4jec113qvn/AAAp2ka0fkEGW_LdcKvAiv5Ka/There%20Is%20No%20Place%20Like%20Home%20-%20Teens.docx?dl=0
One of my Weekly Action items was to get feedback on my book, so if you are so inclined, click the link above and share your feedback. If you have and/or work with teens, feel free to share it with them a well.
A line in the Intention Declaration states “I have all of the support I need within the Ultimate Success Masterclass to overcome challenges and stay focused on my goal. I just need to ask.” Well as you see, I AM ASKING. If you see any way that you can help me realize my INTENTION or meet my GOAL let me know!

For those who may be wary or to those who think that their “little” effort couldn’t possibly make a difference, consider the story of the Hundredth Monkey and reconsider. Everyone and everything counts!
Here is the story of the Hundredth Monkey:
The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, has been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years.
In 1952, on the island of Koshima scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.
An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers, too.
This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists.
Between 1952 and 1958, all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable.
Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.
Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes — the exact number is not known.
Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes.
Let’s further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.
THEN IT HAPPENED!
By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them.
The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!
A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea —
Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes!*
(*Lifetide by Lyall Watson, pp. 147-148. Bantam Books 1980. This book gives other fascinating details.)
Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.
Although the exact number may very, the Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the consciousness property of these people.
But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!
You may be the “Hundredth Monkey” . . .
On a recent birthday, and during the recent passing of my big Sister, I have begun to realize the tremendous honor and responsibility that comes along with the title of “Uncle”. I used to take it for granted when it came from my nieces and nephews, but not anymore. I have begun to sense the respect that is expressed when they call me “Uncle Tony”. It is an added honor when someone outside of my biological family calls me “Uncle”. It is sign of respect for the role that I have played in their lives. From now on, I will wear “Uncle” as a true badge of honor!
There are many names for what I call “The Universe.” Some say “Creator,” “Source,” “God,” “Consciousness,” and many others. It doesn’t matter what name you use, we are still referring to the Source of all that is.
Yesterday, on my 66th birthday, I found my Self silently complaining that things were not the way that I wanted them to be. I went so far as to decide that I would no longer wait for other people to “honor” me, instead, I decided to honor my Self. I bought my own cake (that looked an awful lot like a cinnamon muffin), made my own card, and even bought my own gift. Then I thumbed my nose at the world and said “there”, since no one will honor me like I want to be honored, I’ll do it my Self.
Feeling pretty uncared for, I prepared to facilitate a class, my last obligation for the day….and to my surprise, I was presented with a birthday card, a gift, and a “real” birthday cake. It was as if I was being reminded that the Universe works perfectly, if only I would be patient. Lesson learned!
Many people, and sometimes I’m one of those people, wonder why they don’t have all the things that they want and need. To those people, and to myself, I say, “You have not because you ask not.”
This Universe in which we live is an abundant Universe. If you don’t believe me, I challenge you to count the blades of grass in your front yard, the leaves on the tree across the street, or the stars in the sky. Everywhere you look in nature, abundance abounds.
I used to wonder how flowers knew when to bloom in spring and how threes know when to bud, Then I realized that they are in harmony with nature and when conditions are right, bam, the blooming and the budding begins.
When the conditions are right in your life, you too will “bloom.” “What are the conditions necessary for your growth?” you ask. When you clearly picture what you want in your life, immerse your Self in the feelings that you will feel when you reach your desired goal, stay consistent in this practice, and have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will reach your goal…it is law!
Oh, by the way, you must feel worthy of receiving the abundance. Because of the power of Grace, you are indeed worthy. After all, YOU ARE ENOUGH!
P.S. – You still have to take the first step. What are you waiting for?
We don’t expect too much of children, we expect far too little. In my 30+ years working with children, I realized that children would perform and conform to what I expected of them. This has been referred to as the Self-fulfilling Prophesy or Pygmalion Effect.
Once we set an expectation and believe it in our hearts, it’s amazing the results. I got a Facebook message today from one of my business associates, giving a glimpse of what kids, all kinds of kids, can do. Check it out:
Did you know that Popeye was an archtype? He is the spirit inside of you and I who appears when we have had enough of the abuse that we are experiencing – much of which is self-inflicted. When he said,
That’s all I can stands cuz I can’t stands no more!
that meant that he was tired of putting up with the stuff around him and the abuse that he was experiencing. When he had had enough, he pulled out his spinach – another name for Truth and Power – and got busy being all that he could be. Have you had enough, Popeye?
